Booking policy

I. Booking policy

  • • Peak season is from March to November and all national holidays. We recommend that you book 60 days in advance.
  • • The low season is from December to February (excluding national holidays). We recommend that you book 30 days in advance.
  • • The earliest check-in time is 2pm and the latest check-out time is 12pm.
  • • Requests for early check-in and late departure are subject to room availability for the night and cannot be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • • Please bring valid identification of all guests upon check-in for easy check-in.
  • • Pets are not allowed at Shanghai Yuehua Hotel, please call +86 21 57181888 for details.
  • • In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, Shanghai Yuehua Hotel accepts visually impaired guests to bring guide dogs into the open areas of the hotel and enjoy the hotel facilities and services reasonably in accordance with current laws and regulations.
  • • When guests bring their guide dog to check in, in addition to the usual procedures, they need to provide a disability card (red ID represents visual disability), a guide dog work card with the official seal of the Public Security Department or disabled Persons Federation (or with the International Guide Dog Federation IGDF logo) and animal health immunity certificate. The hotel will arrange for the visually impaired to share the accessible rooms with the guide dog. According to the City Dog Management Regulations, no pets other than working guide dogs are allowed to enter the hotel.
  • •If a guide dog is working with a visually impaired guest without a work permit or certificate, the hotel will provide alternative means such as: providing an alternative placement for the guide dog and providing guidance and assistance to the visually impaired guest by the hotel staff.
  • • From July 1, 2019, the Shanghai tourism accommodation industry will no longer provide disposable daily necessities such as toothbrushes, combs, bath erasers, razors, nail files and shoe erasers. II. Accommodation cancellation policy

  • • All cancellations must be made 1 day or earlier prior to check-in
  • • If the reservation is cancelled less than 1 day (i.e. 1 day before check-in), the hotel will treat it as a normal stay.
  • • A deposit of 1-2 times the room rate per room per night is required according to hotel regulations.
Disclaimer

In view of the request made by Shanghai Yuehua Hotel based on past experience, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives, assigns, successors and next of kin:

1. Confirm, agree and declare that I understand the nature of outdoor activities and the dangers they may pose. I understand the dangers of staying in the countryside and participating in activities such as hiking and swimming. I am qualified to stay in an outdoor environment and participate in outdoor activities that I enjoy. I am healthy and in excellent physical condition.

2. Full understanding of:

  • • (a) These activities carry risks and dangers of physical harm, including permanent disability, paralysis or even death (" risks ");
  • • (b) These risks and dangers may be created by my own actions or omissions, the actions or omissions of other persons involved in the activities, the conditions under which those activities were carried out or the negligence of the persons exempted below;
  • • (c) There may also be other risks and social and economic losses that I am not aware of or cannot anticipate at this time; I fully accept and bear all risks, liabilities, losses, costs and damages incurred by me as a result of my participation in the above activities.

3. Agree and warrant that I will inspect and test all activities in which I will participate as a guest of the Ship, and that if I consider certain conditions to be hazardous, I will notify the appropriate event authority and refuse to participate in such activities until the conditions have been amended to my satisfaction.

4. Hereby discharges and exempts Shanghai Yuehua Hotel and its employees from all liabilities, claims, demands, losses or damages caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the exempted person or others in whole or in part (including negligence in rescue activities) and undertakes not to Sue Shanghai Yuehua Hotel and its employees; I also agree that notwithstanding the disclaimer, waiver, Assumption of Risk and Warranty agreement, if I or anyone on my behalf brings a claim against a indemnized person, I will hold that indemnized person harmless and free from any costs, attorneys' fees, losses, liabilities, damages or expenses incurred as a result of such claim.

5. Fully understand that any conduct carried out on the premises of Shanghai Yuehua Hotel shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of China.

6. Fully understand that I will be liable for any damage in or around the room during my stay.

7. Fully understand that Shanghai Yuehua Hotel  is not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost or stolen in or around the rooms.

8. Fully understand that I am responsible for the purchase of appropriate travel insurance and fully understand that I am responsible for the purchase of appropriate business insurance. I have read this Agreement and fully understand the content and meaning of the terms of this Agreement, this Agreement is signed by myself, without any temptation or coercion, and completely and unconditionally release the Hotel from all liabilities that may be allowed by law, and agree that if any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

Parental approval

I am a parent and/or guardian of a minor and understand the nature of outdoor activities and the dangers they may pose. I understand the dangers involved in activities such as hiking and swimming.

I understand the experience and ability of minors and believe that minors have the conditions to participate in these activities.

I hereby release and exempt, undertake not to Sue, and agree to indemnify and hold each indemnee harmless and free from all liability, claim, demand, loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by the operation, and further agree that notwithstanding the exemption, if I or a minor or any person acting on behalf of a minor brings a claim against any of the above indemnee, I will indemnify and hold each indemnized person harmless and harmless from any costs, attorneys' fees, liability for loss, damage or expenses incurred in connection with such claim.
